Flights: There are regular daily flights by practically all major airlines into Albany International Airport (ALB) and Burlington International Airport (BTV) from most major US cities. Both airports are home to every major car rental company (see below). Train: Amtrak's Adirondack route regularly services the upstate region departing from both New York City's Penn Station (NYP), or Albany's Rensselaer (ALB) station and goes directly to Lake George's Ticonderoga station (about 20 mins drive to the town of Hague). *There are no car rentals at the Ticonderoga station stop, so please be sure to have local transportation arranged prior to getting to the station. You can also depart from New York's Penn Station (NYP) on the Adirondack, arrive in Albany's Rensselaer station and get a car rental at the station, or the Albany Airport (20 minute cab ride from Rensselaer station). The drive from Albany to the town of Hague is about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
